What a nice way to celebrate with a meal on the deck. You've made it so attractive and wonderful.
We celebrated by watching a lightning storm which circled us for hours. I'm looking forward to a day with no rain whatsoever. We are planning to watch the festivities from NYC soon. Yay!
Thanks Mary... Ours was quiet and simple and lovely... but HOT! We were able to watch fireworks from IN our pool, thank goodness! Have a lovely Sunday! ~Really Rainey~
We were not able to get out and about at all this fourth, but when we ate ... it was on my "Liberty Blue" and for the first time all day, I felt like it was a holiday.

I am a 50-something reluctant housewife (I'd rather be an international supermodel or a forest ranger or a jockey), mother of two great but sometimes annoying kids ages 25 and 21, and wife to a funny, hard-working attorney.
While I appreciate each and every one of the awards that you have given me since 2007, I have decided that Little Red House will no longer be accepting awards and tags. Thank you for your understanding. :)
Have a safe, happy and blessed 4th. Hugs, Marty

The only thing that could make this picture better would be a scone and some ice tea! Lovely Mary! And your header photo is beautiful!
