There are beautiful wildflowers throughout the spring and summer. I'm not sure what the flowers above are. They look like clover though, don't they?
When the water is calm, the reflections are beautiful. This spot (above) is my favorite for picture-taking. The water in the mosaic at the top of the post is the same spot, taken from a different angle.
So that has been my summer so far -- lots of walks in this much-loved park. How has your summer been going?

Such a beautiful place ... have enjoyed all your great photos.
ReplyDeleteThe garden is so lushly green. I enjoy water reflections, too. I don't know about your wildflower, but I picked some that look much like it only there were also some yellow ones. Very pretty little things and they do look a lot like clover.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a cross between clover and lupines. I don't know what it is. Pretty though.

Todays pix are glorious, the stream and it's surroundings are idyllic.
I've sent you some poppy mosaics today, they may be squatters in my garden but I love 'em.

Gorgeous photos, What a lovely relaxing place to visit. I do believe your mystery flowers are a variation of Jacob's Ladder.

Beautiful pictures, Mary...I just want to walk right into the last one. :)
ReplyDeleteAren't reflections wonderful to photograph? Your pictures are lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely lovely park. I love all those rolling hills and the grass! We don't have a lot of grass down here. It's upkeep requires a lot of water. Somehow your shots remind me of a fairyland. Very nice. :)

ReplyDeleteI too have a favorite par nearby. Isn't it good to have a place to walk that give us so much pleasure from its beauty and its peacefulness?
