The Den Tree

After all that trouble, I think it turned out OK.  This one is all browns and golds, to blend with the colors of our tiny den.  Stay tuned for more Christmas decorations later in the week.  But right now, I have so much to do that I don't even know where to begin...  Is there an emoticon for panic?

  4. Your tree is lovely! I like the idea of keeping the colour scheme in sync with your den.

I was told once that Christmas comes regardless of whether we stress ourselves out before hand, so my advice is to try and let the little things go and relax...it's Christmas!!!!

  11. Hi Mary,

I think that eating lots of sugary things helps with the panic...at least the lethargy makes it seem that way. ***Munch***, sugar cookie? Your treaa is gorgeous :)

  22. Such a beautiful tree...I love the colors. I have some glas ornaments in browns and golds on our litle living room tree...to go with some of the room. Your decor is always an inspiration!

If you find a symbol for panic let me know! I just found out that Christmas is one week away! Where was MY head!

    Love,

  24. Mary, I guess I don't need to tell you that I checked several times a day to see if another tree was up. (I gotta get a life!) but I see there are a lot of people just like me...so I feel better. The tree is beautiful. But then I expected it to be!
I have recently..very recently learned that taking pictures and deciding what to post is not easy. Again...thank you for all the sharing you do!

  25. Perfect for your autumn room! Your autumn room inspired me to decorate our upstairs study with an an autumn theme. I found a lovely English tin (I collect them), in wonderful autumn colors. Next I found some like new custom-made, lined draperies in autumn colors at a thrift shop. So after Christmas I will begin my new project. I'll paint the walls in P. Allen Smith's favorite Anjou Pear by Sherwin Williams--it's a perfect shade of gold! Vicki from Stickhorse Cowgirls
