I'm still feeling pretty lousy, so I thought I would just leave you a link to my rooms on HGTV's Rate My Space. If you've never visited the site before I warn you, it can be mildly addictive. I find the blog world much more supportive and encouraging, but if you are just a design voyeur like me, it's always fun to get a peek inside all the homes listed. Have fun!

OK.. I just visited the link.. and OMG! What I wouldn't give to curl up in your den and brouse through your collection of decorating books.. you should start a monthly book club/ get together.. I'd travel down to join. ;) But, I do suppose you are just slightly too far away.. it's a shame really.. You'll just have to keep posting pics so I can visit this way instead!

ReplyDeleteI tried posting over there over a year ago & after about 2 weeks, with some good comments & negative, snarky comments, I decided I had had enough, so I deleted them. Don't think I'll do it again, I enjoy the blogging community much better. But, your rooms all look great. The pics over there take a long time to load, so I didn't look at all of them.

I have taken most of my spaces off RMS. Haven't been there much lately. I remember your rooms. They are so warm and inviting. I did meet some wonderful ladies there and have continued to keep in touch with them through e mails and blogging.

I just visited your rooms and discovered that you have soapstone countertops. I wonder how you like them? I just decided to use them when I replace my counters.

It's nice to finally catch up with you, Mary! I hope you feel better soon ... I've had the same virus for a month and a half now. I was just starting to feel better the week before Christmas, went to Mass Christmas Eve where everyone was sneezing and sniffling and 2 days later, I was back where I started. Yuck! Today is the first day I've felt like I might be getting on top of it (fingers crossed)! ANYways .... just had a peek at your rooms on HGTV and wow! I've got to spend more time there!! ~ ♥ Lynda xo

Well, you did it, Mary... Led another blogger to spend even more time online. For months I have been hearing about Rate My Space but just did not take the time.
