Morning! That brown transferware is beautiful...I love the colors and the leaves on the edges of the plate...and your photography is just breathtaking girl..Fall decorating colors are just so pretty...hope you are having a great week!
Oh Mary, you got me hooked on the look of brown transferware. I found an entire set at Goodwill!! I'm running out of space to store all my serving pieces & dinnerware. You've created a lovely vignette. I was watching one of the decorating shows last night and they were explaining the theory of designing using odd numbers - three vases..... and as you have demonstrated here - three plates. Well, you have a charger and two plates, which fulfills the "theory of three".
Oh Mary, I love your brown transferware! I need to yank mine down and play :) I am so ready for Fall around here but the weather just refuses to join in.
When I came upon the latest entry to your blog I thought..."oh boy, Mary's playing with her dishes again"! Love when you do that! And your pictures are so amazing. I don't care how good a camera you may have...you definitely have an eye and talent here.
i love them!! i found 3 cups and saucers at a thrift store. i will try to take a pic for tomorrow's post. i am not real sure what the pattern is. they say made in england on the bottom.

I am a 50-something reluctant housewife (I'd rather be an international supermodel or a forest ranger or a jockey), mother of two great but sometimes annoying kids ages 25 and 21, and wife to a funny, hard-working attorney.
While I appreciate each and every one of the awards that you have given me since 2007, I have decided that Little Red House will no longer be accepting awards and tags. Thank you for your understanding. :)
Very pretty Mary - love the colors and textures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm thinking turkey and dressing.
ReplyDeleteWe are still in the 80's here and I just can't get into Fall.
ReplyDeleteYour brown transferware is so pretty. My daughter has my mom's set and someday, I will go out and take pics of it to show you.
All at once, I have the craving for RED transferware; I think Penny started that for me!! :O)
I actually just love ANY color of it.
