Amen! I hope Americans never forget! We tend to put things behind us and move forward, but this is one thing that we should hold close to our hearts for all time, and know that it could happen again. No, please do not ever forget! God Bless America!
No, we can never forget that terrible day that changed our world. And we must never forget to pray for those who lost loved ones that day. And for those who serve us and our country to preserve the freedom we so freely enjoy! ~Adrienne~
It seems like yesterday - the loss is still so fresh. I just hope the world (not just America) never forgets; that we all do all we can to prevent anything, even similar, ever happening again.
I agree with the comment just before me. I found it odd that our news channels and, for that fact, the regular channels did very little to recognize 9-11. I personally feel we need to see the footage of the horror of the attack on our nation over and over.
Too many of us forget about it and the fact that we haven't been hit since---because of brave folks protecting us and our freedoms.

I am a 50-something reluctant housewife (I'd rather be an international supermodel or a forest ranger or a jockey), mother of two great but sometimes annoying kids ages 25 and 21, and wife to a funny, hard-working attorney.
While I appreciate each and every one of the awards that you have given me since 2007, I have decided that Little Red House will no longer be accepting awards and tags. Thank you for your understanding. :)
We will never forget. God bless America.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it has been 7 years, it is still so fresh in my mind.

ReplyDeleteWell said. It's hard to believe it's been so many years.

Neat! Different then many I have seen today!
ReplyDelete"Louis" appreciates your posting of this. He found it disturbing how few mentions of 9/11 he saw or heard in the so-called "Main Stream Media."
