*sigh* can't grow peonies here in the desert, but thanks to you I can enjoy their incredible beauty...and fondly remember the bushes my dear grandmother had in her home in Chicago. I was litle (5 or 6 years old) and the bushes were as tall as me with the blooms the size of baseballs. Grandma was soooo proud of them! Thanks for bringing fond memories back!

ReplyDeleteI'm also obsessed by photographing macros of flowers, and actually dug up my back lawn last summer to prove it. Replaced everything with flowerbeds and winding paths...and now I have plenty of photo opps right in my own backyard.
