Good Morning Mary! I'd would say that that is definitely art!! Your photos are lovely and would make gorgeous greetings or frameables! Enjoy your time 'playing'! The cleaning will always be there when you are done.. xoxo~
I would love to have that software. Everyone seems to have such fun with it. You photo art is wonderful! I may just wait for a warm breeze before my Spring Cleaning :-) Rosie
Thanks for letting me feel a trifle less guilty for playing with photos on the computer instead of cleaning...I can say, in a pouty voice "But that's what Mary does!"
Your photo art is lovely..b/w photos with a subtle shot of color have a great look. I must give that a try.
Mary, I love the second one - is it Echinacea? Don't you just love Photoshop? Confessions of a Pioneer Woman has some great tips on tweaking your photos with it. You might want to check her out. Hugs, Laura
Your pictures are great. This is the first time I have left a comment. I discovered your blog about a month ago, but I have been having computer issues at home. I was sneaking my peeks at work. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your posts.
Cleaning smeaning, puh, housework will always be there! I vote for you to keep playing with photoshop and creating some more of these very cool pics Mary sweetie, you artist you! Love the little flower photo! Amanda (aka Cottage Contessa)
Mary, I do this all the time. Sometimes on Saturdays (my cleaning morning) I'm playing on the computer in Photoshop rather than cleaning and I jump up when I hear my husband come in the door for more coffee. It's not that he'd get mad (or that I would care) but rather the fact that I've been doing it for an hour, since he left! For great tips, visit www.thepioneerwoman.com and search photoshop. She's also starting a whole new blog specifically geared to photography. Have fun!
I agree - forget the cleaning! But I would love to know how you "play" with your Photoshop! I have it, but don't know how to really use it! Do you ever think of making a tutorial??? Hugs - Diane
Oh I know just what you mean Mary! I have tons of artsy fartsy Photoshop pictures over here and yours are looking way more artsy than mine....although I did have tons of giggles warping my own face....(did I type that outloud?)
Hi Mary Happy Monday to you too! Well it's late when I'm writing this so I guess I should say happy Tuesday because that's mwhen you'll read it! Rhondi

I like your art. It's more fun than cleaning! I do the same thing: play with the computer/camera when I should be working. It's not a bad thing!
ReplyDeleteOh Mary but playing with art is so much more fun.

For goodness sake ... don't clean!
ReplyDeleteKeep those priorities in order.
I need to be cleaning also. Looks like you are atleast having fun.
ReplyDeleteSometime soon ( hopefully) we will be able to open our windows and let the dust blow out. That's my idea of spring cleaning :)

Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteI, too, fall victim to playtime on a DAILY basis. Your photos are wonderful! The house can wait!
Enjoy!
Amanda:)
My vote is for ART over HOUSE CLEANING, any day of the week!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with it, Mary.....
hugs, bj
I've been playing instead of "doing" too. I've even played with Photoshop, but haven't achieved anything as lovely as your photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.....I'm all over artsy-fartsy! It's a much better way to spend your time than cleaning.

Hi Mary:
ReplyDeleteThis is certainly more fun! You take such great pics!

ReplyDeletethe cleaning will always be there. Enjoy your art!
I hate to clean -- it's more fun to play on the computer -- lol!
ReplyDeleteI usually wait till Friday and clean for the weekend as that is the only time I have company over anyway.
Happy Monday!
