Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement yesterday. So many of you seem to be asking the same questions or following the same path I find myself on. I have loved reading your stories, and find inspiration in each and every one of you! You have given me the courage to follow my dreams. What a warm, nurturing community this is, and I am blessed to be a part of it.
These flowers are for you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart! :)
The flowers are so very pretty. I am so excited to see where this path leads for you! :-) Rosie
ReplyDeleteMary, as always, your photos are beautiful, and they speak to me of grace.
ReplyDeleteI pondered your post some more yesterday while at work. I am glad you received so many confirmations of your dream.
Isn't it amazing that there are so many kindred spirits?
Wow, Mary! I'm sorry i did not pay you a visit yesterday. I am with you - you go find what it is you are looking for and follow your heart. Yes, it is in being still, that we awaken, that we hear our souls. And then the inspiration turns into action. That's what i've been told.
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I'm taking it one day at a time. I will eventually get there, i hope it's soon.
Have a good day.
Jeannie

Hi :) found you via ShutterSisters.com. Your photo for 'love Thursday' was exquisite. Loved the details of everything, and the book on the shelf 'How to Live a Long Life' was so perfect for the thoughts you wrote about. I'm just into my 40's and I'm feeling the same way you do. What do I do with the rest of my life? I need changes. I'm very discontented and everything in me is calling out to create. I pray that you'll be blessed in all your creative endeavors and in life. Blessed beyond measure! I'm going to bookmark your blog so I can see how you're doing & offer encouragement when I can. Lovely tulips today! Thank you! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm almost afraid to write on here now after all the gushing I did yesterday... wait... are those cops out front... here for me??... ;)
ReplyDeleteAnyway the flowers are beautiful :)
Have a great day,
Rue :)
You sure hit the heartstrings of all of us! I think your photography is beautiful! And your ability to express your feelings is wonderful too; taking English in college actually did pay off! I wish I could express myself as eloquently as you do. Keep up your amazing work!
ReplyDeleteMarilyn
And such beautiful flowers they are, too! You're very welcome, Mary. I think you'll do very well indeed!
ReplyDeleteFlowers always make the day brighter. Thanks for the photos.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, Your still life is wonderful and I say go for it! I did at age 60 and it's been a blast.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome - think of our encouragement as payback to all of the wonderful comments you have left to encourage the rest of us!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the flowers.. The tulips and hydrangeas are beautiful together..
Hugs,
Penny
I just read your post from yesterday and want to say that I know exactly how you feel. I'm 56 and plan to retire in two years and I find myself to be yearning for adding creativity into my life.
ReplyDeleteI love your photography and having a blog is such a good way to advertise your work. Note cards would be beautiful!

Wow, what gorgeous images, Mary. I missed this one, your blog is so lovely. I read on Kathy's Cottage what she wrote after visiting your post. I think that blogging has surely turned into a blessing. To have found so many kindred spirits all creating in one place has encouraged me to step out and do things I would never have tried. Every day is full of inspiration and encouragement. Thank you for the flowers.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Karen
