All the Leaves are Brown...

autumn browns

"All the leaves are brown, and the sky is gray..."

Remember that song, California Dreamin' ?  That first line just came to me as I put together this mosaic of photos.  I guess I'm just in that kind of mood lately.  Quiet.  Soft.  Muted.

What's your mood today?

  2. I'm just waking up with my first cup of coffee! It's just starting to get light here in Savannah. We are still green here, but the days and nights are cooler. Karen

  3. Yesterday all the leaves were brown and the sky was gray, but today I can see the bronzes and coppers because the sun is shining.

Your photographs are, as always, beautiful. How's the card business going?

  4. good morning...yes I remember the mammas and the pappas..one of my favorite groups and songs.

we have a gorgeous day here in central pa. but I am under the weather with a bug i brought back from my vacation. so i am sitting here on my couch- lap top in lap, sipping on tea, trying to feel better. I have a meeting to go to this afternoon and I've got to get it together. I am having my doubts about that happening..

thanks for the great pics. have a great day-

  10. It's a bit chilly here! Mozart's music is tending to be a bit appropriate for watching the leaves fall from the trees just simply exhausted today.
Maybe I need to put the Mamas and the Papas on instead!

Do you use Fickr or Picasa, or Photoshop - or do you have a different program that you use?

  20. With the very moderate climate of the San Francisco Bay Area, we get little of the autumnal colors many others enjoy, so it is nice to tour the blogosphere and see images like these.

My mood is very soft today, too, I spend this late Saturday afternoon in bed, it's nearly dark outside, and I enjoy visiting bloogers more intensively than usual!
