A Little Sneak Peek

I promised you a glimpse of some things I snagged at the thrift store on Monday.  Here they are.    I'm planning on hanging them in the newly painted master bedroom.  (Please don't tell me they're corny.  They look really good in the room.)  I'm still waiting for the toile fabric sample to arrive, and we need to install some new closet knobs and a really heavy mirror that I had been saving for use elsewhere.  I also need to find a rug or two, and perhaps some lamps...

So the redecoration is proceeding apace.  I'll give you more updates in dribs and drabs as they happen,  In the meantime, have a wonderful and blessed Easter, dear bloggers!

  2. Decorating is such an ongoing project, isn't it? I went to the antique store yesterday and left with nothing! I know, shocking.

You have a great Easter too.

  17. Love the silhouettes ~ love the bit of black ~ love the sophistication black lends to a room. Black looks fantastic with blue and adds that certain something that I just know the room will be overflowing with once you work your magic. I don't know your overall plan, but would it work to repeat the black by painting that dresser you spoke of black? The strong simplicity of black is also a great backdrop for toile. Whatever you do, I am certain it will be fabulous. I cannot wait for the reveal!!!
