A Gift!

I have only been blogging since the beginning of September, but I am constantly amazed at all the warm, wonderful and generous people I have met!

I first met Cindy, of My Romantic Home, on the HGTV website, Rate My Space. Hers was the first blog I ever saw. I immediately read all of her posts (practically in one sitting!) and loved everything there -- the photos, the stories, the friendly atmosphere. She inspired me to start visiting thrift stores, and encouraged me to think about starting my own blog. Her beautiful home is a constant inspiration!

Recently I wrote about some antique store finds, including a green tole tray. Cindy was kind enough to offer me a similar one that she had "sitting in the back of her closet." It arrived here yesterday, beautifully wrapped in yellow tissue paper, tied with a sweet daisy ribbon.

It's beautiful, Cindy! Thank you so much!

I think the tray looks perfect and it is even sweeter because it came from a friend.
You are both ladies I admire and from whom I find inspiration.
